The radio module comprises: a power amplifier module (1) with an antenna port (2) connectable to an antenna, and an input port connectable to a transmitter section of a transceiver (11); a reception front end module (8) connectable to the antenna port and a reception section of a transceiver; wherein said power amplifier module and said front end module are capable of covering a number of frequency and/or modulation bands through said antenna port.
