A method for producing aluminum hydroxide includes a step of elevating a temperature of a slurry of aluminum hydroxide suspended in a sodium aluminate solution from 70.degree. C. or lower to 85.degree. C. or higher, and a step of applying a centrifugal force to the slurry. The aluminum hydroxide constituting the slurry is obtained beforehand through the Bayer's process.
