An adhesive skin protector that filters sunlight harmful to skin lesions, the protector comprising at least one adhesive layer adapted to adhere to an area of skin having a skin lesion; and at least one filter layer attached to said adhesive layer, the at least one filter layer being adapted to filter sunlight harmful to the skin lesion.
