Novel 2-pyrrolidin-2-yl-1H-indole compounds corresponding to formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the meanings given in the description, and pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds, as well as processes for the preparation of such compounds and intermediate products of this process, and related methods of treatment.
