A new and distinct cultivar of New Guinea Impatiens plant named `Tamar Light Violet`, characterized by its upright, outwardly spreading and uniformly mounded plant growth habit; freely branching and freely flowering habit; dark green-colored foliage; and large rounded light violet-colored flowers.
