Provided is a liquid ejection head for electrostatic ink jet capable of
ejecting ink droplets at a low voltage and at high speed. The liquid
ejection head includes: an ejection substrate in which ejection openings
are formed; ejection electrodes that respectively correspond to the
ejection openings; and solution guides that pass through the ejection
openings and protrude from the ejection substrate. The solution guides
are each a member whose at least tip end portion is made of a composite
material containing a resin material and particles of a high-dielectric
material dispersed in the resin material.
