The present invention provides a hybrid material comprised of an active
component for raw materials for cosmetics and a layered metal hydroxide,
showing good stability, low toxicity, low irritation, good sustained
release and good dispersibility. The present invention provides a method
for preparing the hybrid material, using the coprecipitation method, the
ion-exchange method or the adsorption method, depending on properties of
the active component for raw materials for cosmetics. The method may
further comprise a step of coating the surface of the hybrid material
after preparation of the hybrid material. The present invention provides
cosmectics comprising the above hybrid material.
