A method and a control unit for controlling technical procedures,
particularly in a motor vehicle. In the method, a control program of a
computing element, particularly a microprocessor, is processed. The
control program is subdivided into several tasks and each task is
subdivided into several processes. The tasks are processed in a
cooperative mode or in a preemptive mode. After the processing of the
control program, in order to make possible a simulation as close to
reality as possible, particularly an offline open loop simulation, it is
proposed that the process sequence be stored during the processing of the
control program. Preferably, before the processing of the control
program, a unique identifier is assigned to each process, and, during the
processing of the control program, only the identifier of the processed
process most recently processed before the beginning of a finished task
is stored.
