This case discloses compounds of formula (I) wherein R.sup.1 is
C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.2-6alkenyl, amino,
monoC.sub.1-4alkylamino or diC.sub.1-4alkylamino; B is --N(R.sup.4)-- or
--O--; A and D, which may be the same or different, are
--C(R.sup.5).sub.2--; each R.sup.2, which may be the same or different,
is C.sub.1-6alkyl, halogen, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy,
haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy, cyano, nitro or amino; n is 0, 1 or 2; R.sup.3 is
C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy, haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy,
cyano, nitro, amino, --(CH.sub.2).sub.pNR.sup.3aSO.sub.2R.sup.3b,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.pNR.sup.3a(C.dbd.O)R.sup.3b,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.pNR.sup.3a(C.dbd.O)N(R.sup.3c).sub.2,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.p(C.dbd.O)R.sup.3d, --(CH.sub.2).sub.pSO.sub.2R.sup.3e,
phenyl or heterocyclyl, wherein when R.sup.3 is phenyl or heterocyclyl,
it is optionally substituted by one or more groups independently selected
from: C.sub.1-6alkyl, halogen, C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl,
C.sub.1-4alkoxy, haloC.sub.1-4alkoxy, cyano, nitro, amino,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.pNR.sup.3aSO.sub.2R.sup.3b,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.pNR.sup.3a(C.dbd.O)R.sup.3b,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.pNR.sup.3a(C.dbd.O)N(R.sup.3c).sub.2,
--(CH.sub.2).sub.p(C.dbd.O)R.sup.3d and
--(CH.sub.2).sub.pSO.sub.2R.sup.3e; where R.sup.3a and each R.sup.3c,
which may be the same or different, is hydrogen or C.sub.1-6alkyl;
R.sup.3b and R.sup.3e are C.sub.1-6alkyl or haloC.sub.1-6alkyl; R.sup.3d
is C.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-4alkoxy or haloC.sub.1-6alkyl; or R.sup.3a and
R.sup.3b, or R.sup.3a and R.sup.3c, together with the interconnecting
atoms, may form a 5- or 6-membered ring; and p is 0, 1, or 2; R.sup.4 is
carbocyclyl or carbocyclylC.sub.1-4alkyl, wherein the carbocyclyl group
of either is optionally substituted by one or more groups independently
selected from C.sub.1-6alkyl and halogen; or R.sup.4 is hydrogen,
C.sub.1-6alkyl, haloC.sub.1-6alkyl, C.sub.1-6alkylcarbonyl,
C.sub.1-6alkylsulfonyl or C.sub.1-6alkylaminocarbonyl; each R.sup.5,
which may be the same or different, is hydrogen, C.sub.1-6alkyl or
halogen; and R.sup.6 is hydrogen or fluorine.
