The present invention provides compounds and methods of using of the compounds as anti-infective agents. In a preferred embodiment, the present invention provides wherein R.sub.1 is not H when R.sub.2 is H and R.sub.2 is not H when R.sub.1 is H, further wherein R.sub.1 is CH.sub.(2n+1)O, wherein n is 1-10; wherein R.sub.2 is OH or CH.sub.(2n+1)O, wherein n is 1-10; and wherein A, B and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, and R.sub.7 are independently selected from a group consisting of H, alkyl and aryl groups and R.sub.11 is an alkyl or an aryl group
