A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having, on a support, at least each one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers containing yellow-, magenta-, or cyan-dye-forming-coupler, and at least one light-insensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, wherein at least one of the dye-forming couplers is a dye-forming coupler that forms an azomethine dye having a solubility of 1.times.10.sup.-8 mol/L to 5.times.10.sup.-3 mol/L in ethyl acetate; and an image forming method using the light-sensitive material.
