A hollow, individual celery cylinder cut to a length of about one to
twelve inches, and having an outside diameter of about 0.1 to 2 inch and
an inside diameter of 0.075 to 1.85 inches. The celery cylinder is mild
in taste and resistant to rupture upon application of internal vacuum to
the cylinder, such that it can be used as a drinking straw. The cylinder
can also be stuffed with a foodstuff, to form a novel food product.
