A UV irradiating device and a method of manufacturing an LCD device using
the same are disclosed. The UV irradiating device includes a UV light
source part having a UV lamp and a reflecting plate, a support supporting
the UV light source part, and a stage on which a substrate is placed, the
UV light source being irradiated at a tilt angle upon the substrate. The
UV is irradiated upon the substrate on which the UV sealant is formed, so
that a sealant can be hardened even if a light-shielding layer or a metal
line layer are formed between a UV irradiating surface and the UV
sealant.
