The belt unit includes: at least two rollers, each having a roller shaft; an endless belt looped around the two rollers; and an outer frame disposed around the endless belt and having two roller-supporting walls rotatably supporting the rollers therebetween, the roller shafts of the rollers extending in a direction intersecting the roller-supporting walls.
