The present invention relates to new indolopyrrolocarbazole derivatives of formula (I): wherein R represents an unsubstitued pyridyl, furyl, or thienyl group; m represents an integer of 1 to 3; and G represents a .beta.-D-glucopyranosyl group; and the positions of substitution of the hydroxyl groups on the indolopyrrolocarbazole ring are the 1- and 11-positions, or the 2- and 10-positions.
