The present invention provides an amide-type carboxamide derivative of the formula [1]: ##STR00001## wherein X is a group of the formula: --N.dbd. or the formula: --CH.dbd.; R.sup.1 is a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, and the like; R.sup.2 is a group of the formula: ##STR00002## and the like; Y.sup.1 and Y.sup.2 are the same or different and each is a group selected from a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, and the like; Ring A is phenyl group, and the like, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which is useful as an inhibitor of FXa.
