An explosive training device is described and which includes a main body
defining an internal cavity, and wherein a plurality of elongated
channels extend through the main body and communicate with the internal
cavity; and an explosive charge is received within the cavity of the main
body, and which, when detonated, produces sound and visibly discernible
light, and wherein a preponderance of the visibly discernible light, and
sound produced by the detonation of the explosive charge escapes from the
main body through the plurality of elongated channels.
