The transmission also includes a plurality of selectively engageable torque transmitting devices configured to selectively interconnect selected members of the planetary gearset and the compound gearset for unitary rotation thereby to provide a plurality of forward speed ratios and at least one reverse speed ratio between an input member and an output member.
