A hearing device having at least one of an acoustical/electrical converter
and an electrical/acoustical converter respectively with an acoustical
input or output. The input or output, as the case may be, is linked to a
coupling opening at the outer surface of the device via a channel. At
least a part of the outer surface of the device is formed by a one-part
shell. The shell defines an inner space of the device, with the channel
being provided within and along the part of the shell and being formed
within the material of the shell.
