The present invention relates to novel phenyl-substituted 4-ketolactams and -lactones of the formula (I) ##STR00001## in which A, B, Q, G, W, X, Y, Z and R.sup.3 are as defined above, to processes and intermediates for their preparation and to their use as pesticides, microbicides and herbicides.
