The present invention relates to compounds of formula I and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts wherein in formula I is: ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are as defined in the description and claims. The compounds of the present invention are useful for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases which are associated with the modulation of histamine 3 (H3) receptors.
