A low voltage power cable having an insulation layer with a density below 1100 kg/m.sup.3, which has a polyolefin having 0.002-4% mol of a compound that has polar groups and further having a compound that has hydrolysable silane groups and includes 0.0001-3% weight of a silanol condensation catalyst and a process of manufacturing such a cable.
