The invention is directed to pyrro[1,2-b]pyridazinone compounds of Formula I and pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds that are useful in treating infections by hepatitis C virus: ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.4 is selected from ##STR00002## Ring A is 5 or 6- membered aryl or heterocyclyl, and the remaining substituents are defined herein.
