7,8-Bicyclic-chroman derivatives of Formula I: ##STR00001## wherein the substituents are defined as in the specification or the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are disclosed. They are useful for the treatment of inflammatory disorders, neurodegenerative disorders and/or mitochondrial disorders. They are also useful in the manufacture of pharmaceutical formulations for the treatment of such conditions.
