Pharmaceutical composition containing compounds of the following structure, wherein R.sub.1-R.sub.9, R.sub.15, and n are defined herein, are provided. ##STR00001## These compositions are useful in treating neurological disorders or complications due to stroke or head injury, and as neuroprotective and neuroregenerative agents.
