The system comprises a host system executing manufacturing execution system software, material control system software, and communications software. The system also comprises a client system in communication with the host system via the communications software and a communications network. The system also comprises a cell controller in communication with the host system as well as production equipment in communication with the host system via the cell controller. The system further comprises an automated material handling system, integrated transport facilitation system software in communication with the host system via the communications network, and a notification generated by the integrated transport facilitation system.
