The present invention relates to a repetitive language kit combined with a
series of early reading experiences that facilitate the teaching of
reading to pre-readers. The kit is comprised of an assembly of pages that
present a photographic site for receiving a personalized photograph and a
text site for receiving repetitive and personalized text relating to the
photograph as part of a theme. A binder secures the pages between front
and back covers and provides movement of the pages through an arc. Cards
having repetitive text corresponding to the repetitive text of the pages
reinforce and further the reading skills of the pre-reader. The process
for creating the book comprises memorializing an experience between a
person and pre-reader through photographs, affixing the photographs to
the pages of the kit, compiling the pages into a bound book and reading
the book to the pre-reader who memorizes and play reads along.
