A plurality of internet protocol ranges are displayed in a control area. A user selects either a one-dimensional or a two-dimensional graphical representation of a portion of the plurality of internet protocol ranges. A visual representation of the internet address space of the plurality of internet protocol ranges is generated in a view manipulation component. A graphic display component displays the selected graphical representation of the portion of the plurality of internet protocol range.
