The invention comprises compounds of Formula 1: ##STR00001## wherein, R.sub.1 is independently H or halogen; R.sub.2 is, for example, H or --R.sub.10--NR.sub.11R.sub.12, and wherein R.sub.10 is C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkyl, and R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 are independently H, C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl, and hydrates, solvates, salts and tautomers thereof. The invention further comprises methods for making the compounds of the invention and methods for making compounds useful in the treatment or prevention of cardiac arrhythmia from the compounds of the invention.
