An implantable electric device comprising: a deployable round structure
initially in a cramped state and adapted to be expanded into a deployed
state, with at least one of a plurality of coils provided about the
structure; a power source; and an electric circuitry for generating
alternating currents in said at least one of the plurality of coils to
generate an alternating electromagnetic field within the structure. In
some embodiments of the invention it serves as a motor, and in some
embodiments it serves to enhance blood flow within a patient's
vasculature.
