An electroconductive endless belt for use as an intermediate transfer member that is disposed between an image-forming unit and a recording medium, is circularly driven by a drive unit, and temporarily holds a toner image transferred from the image-forming unit and subsequently transfers the toner image onto the recording medium, wherein the electroconductive endless belt has a multilayer structure including at least a surface layer disposed on a base layer, and the base layer is mainly composed of a polyester resin and/or a polyester elastomer and contains a conductive agent, a brominated epoxy resin, and an antimony compound, the polyester elastomer having a melting point of at least 210.degree. C.
