A proactive spinal treatment method is for maintaining axial spine height
and sagital plane spine balance in a spine comprising vertebrae and
intervertebral discs between adjacent vertebrae. The method may include
collecting a plurality of spinal health parameters relating to predicted
spinal degeneration risk for a given patient's spine, and analyzing the
plurality of spinal health parameters to generate a proposed stabilizing
implantation treatment using a finite element spinal model. The method
may further include performing the proposed stabilizing implantation
treatment on the given patient's spine to proactively treat the patient
to maintain axial spine height and sagital plane spine balance.
