The invention relates to mixtures for producing printing inks, wherein the mixtures comprise a homopolymerizate or copolymerizate of C.sub.2-C.sub.18-.alpha.-olefins, which are produced by means of metallocene catalysis, and of decomposing waxes, which are prepared from polyolefins of longer chain lengths produced by means of metallocene catalysis, and one or more additional additive.
