A damping assembly for use with a fuel rail. The damping assembly includes
a damper configured to be positioned substantially within the fuel rail.
The damper includes a wall and defines a longitudinal axis. A portion of
the wall is moveable toward the longitudinal axis from a first position
to a second position. The damping assembly also includes an insert
positioned substantially within the damper and including a body having a
surface. The surface is spaced apart from the moveable portion of the
wall when the moveable portion is in the first position.
