The present invention relates to an active muffler for an exhaust gas
system of an internal combustion engine, in particular in a motor
vehicle, having at least one antinoise generator for applying antinoise
to the exhaust gas, whereby the antinoise generator has a diaphragm drive
with which it is coupled via at least one coupling element in a thermally
conducting and noise-reducing manner to an outside wall of the muffler,
which is in contact with the environment.
