An antiglare light diffusing member is disclosed comprising a transparent base material; and an antiglare light diffusing layer including a binder matrix and a particle; wherein, as for the layer, arithmetic average roughness Ra1 (.lamda.c: 0.008 mm) on the basis of JIS-B0601-1994 is less than 0.008 .mu.m, Ra2 (.lamda.c: 0.8 mm) on the basis of JIS-B0601-1994 is 0.1-0.5 .mu.m and an internal haze is 1-7%.
