This invention concerns compounds of formula (I) ##STR00001## prodrugs, addition salts, or stereochemically isomeric forms thereof for use as, inter alia, respiratory syncytial virus replication inhibitors; their preparation, compositions containing them and methods of their use in treating respiratory syncytial viral infections.
