A method for separating luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) of composite
signals is presented. The method includes the process of determining
whether a target position of a target field has motion and whether the
image of the target position meets a predetermined condition. If the
target position of the target field has motion and the image of the
target position meets the predetermined condition, an inter-field Y/C
separation for video signals corresponding to the target position of the
target field is performed.
