Disclosed herein is a novel crosslinked polyphthalocyanine compound. The
polyphthalocyanine compound has a structure in which phthalocyanine units
are crosslinked to absorb wavelengths in the near-infrared range of 750
to 900 nm, thus being suitable for use as a near-infrared absorber.
Further disclosed is a near-infrared absorbing ink composition comprising
the polyphthalocyanine compound as a near-infrared absorber.
