The invention relates to therapeutic compositions used in the field of
angiogenesis, comprising nucleotide sequences of genes, the involvement
of said genes in the angiogenesis mechanism having been demonstrated by
the Applicant, and including the complementary sequences thereof, the
antisense sequences of same, polypeptide sequences coded by the coding
parts of the aforementioned genes and antibodies that are directed
against said polypeptide sequences. The invention also relates to
genetically-modified cells that underexpress or overexpress the
above-mentioned genes and to therapeutic compositions containing said
cells, which are used to treat angiogenic disorders. Moreover, the
invention relates to methods of diagnosing and/or prognosticating
antigenic disorders and to novel methods of screening active compounds in
the treatment of said disorders.
