Disclosed herein are methods and compositions for treating and/or prophylaxis of neuropathic pain in a subject. The methods comprise administering to the subject suffering from neuropathic pain, a therapeutically effective amount of a compound, according to Formula I: ##STR00001## or a salt thereof, wherein A, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are defined herein.
