For example, an apparatus includes a voltage-controlled current source to provide biasing current to a Radio Frequency power amplifier based on a voltage of an incoming signal indicating a command to activate the Radio Frequency power amplifier, the incoming signal received from a Radio Frequency baseband module; and a current-reducing circuit to reduce the biasing current if the voltage of the incoming signal is greater than or equal to a voltage overdrive threshold.
