An endoprosthesis for orthopaedic applications comprising a prosthesis
body suitable for interfacing between a first and a second bone at a
first and a second wall respectively. The prosthesis body, at least one
of said walls, comprises a fixing interface suitable for favouring the
osteo-integration with an associable bone, which is spaced from one of
the walls of the prosthesis body by a plurality of spacer elements for
forming a meatus between the interface and the wall, said meatus
determining cavities and undercuts suitable for seating growing bony
tissue. The fixing interface comprises a reticular structure having a
plurality of meshes integrally interconnected to each other and suitable
for favouring the osteo-integration.
