The extract comprises alkaloids, coumarins, saccharides, proteins, polysaccharides, glycosides, saponins, tannins, acid, flavonoids and others. The composition can be used for treating breast, leukocyte, liver, ovarian, bladder, prostate, bone or brain cancer. This invention provides compounds comprising at least one sugar, a triterpene, such as Sapogenin, and at least one side chains at Carbon 21 and 22, such as Angeloyl groups. The compounds of the present have various pharmaceutical and therapeutic applications, including treating breast, leukocyte, liver, ovarian, bladder, prostate, bone or brain cancer.
