An OLED display comprising a substrate; at least one heat insulating layer
disposed over the substrate; a first electrode located over the heat
insulating layer and having a thermal conductivity higher than the heat
insulating layer; a plurality of thermal contacts provided through the
heat insulating layer between the first electrode and the substrate, the
thermal contacts comprising material having a thermal conductivity higher
than that of the heat insulating layer; one or more organic layers, at
least one of which is a light emissive layer, disposed over the first
electrode; and a second electrode disposed over the one or more organic
layers.
