An electrophotographic image receiving sheet comprises a support and a toner image receiving layer that is formed on at least one surface of the support and contains a mixture of a linear amorphous polymer having a glass-transition temperature (Tg1) in a range of from 40.degree. to 120.degree. C. and a linear crystalline polymer having a melting temperature (Tm) in a range of from 100.degree. to 200.degree. C. These linear amorphous polymer and linear crystalline polymer satisfy 1.0.times.Tg1(K).ltoreq.Tm(K).ltoreq.1.5.times.Tg1(K).
