The invention relates to a structured composite as a carrier for the
tissue engineering and implant material of bones, consisting of a mass of
porous calcium phosphate granulates. The granulated material has a grain
size of between 0.5 and 10 mm with macropores and micropores, and the
macropores have an average diameter of between 50 and 500 ?m and are
bound by a biocompatible binding agent.
