The present invention relates to a method for producing a co-granulate of mono calcium phosphate and gypsum comprising: providing a mixture of at least burnt lime and gypsum and granulating said mixture with an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid. The invention further relates to a granulate obtainable according to the above method for both compound feed and premixes. Further, according to the invention a mixture of at least CaCO.sub.3 and gypsum is granulated with an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid, wherein the temperature of the mixture during granulation is less than 90.degree.
