Process for producing a shaped body comprising a microporous material and at least one silicon-containing binder, which comprises the steps (I) preparing a mixture comprising the microporous material, the binder, a make-up aid and a solvent, (II) mixing and densifying the mixture, (III) shaping the densified mixture to give a shaped body, (IV) drying the shaped body and (V) calcining the dried shaped body, wherein the binder used is an organosilicon compound, shaped bodies which can be produced by this process, their use as catalyst, in particular in organic synthesis and very particularly preferably in a process for preparing triethylenediamine (TEDA).
