Described is a heads-up display system for an aircraft having a rotating
propeller assembly. The heads-up display system includes an electrical
interconnection sheet and a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs)
electrically connected to the electrical interconnection sheet. The
heads-up display also includes means for securing the electrical
interconnection sheet onto an outer surface of a propeller blade. A
graphics generator disposed in the rotating propeller assembly is in
electrical communication with the electrical interconnection sheet to
control illumination of the LEDs while the propeller assembly rotates.
